Privacy Policy, previous version: Knight AI+AV

This policy explains how Knight AI+AV LLC, a California limited liability company ("Knight AI+AV", "we", "us"), handles personal information on knightaiav.com and the tools served from it, including Omni Converter.

Talk DAT! and D-REC have their own policies, which govern those products: the Talk DAT! privacy policy and the D-REC privacy policy.

What we collect

When you visit

Our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time, so it can deliver the page and protect the site.

If you choose Day or Night, your browser saves that choice on your device. It also remembers, until you close the tab, that the opening animation has played. Neither is sent to us. The main pages set no cookies and run no advertising trackers.

Visit counts

We count visits with our own counter, which runs as a Cloudflare Worker. For each page view it records the page, the name of the site that sent you (for example linkedin.com), your country and your type of device (Windows, Mac, iPhone or iPad, Android or Linux). When you click a product, download or contact link, it records which one. It adds these to daily totals and stores nothing else: no IP address, no cookie and no identifier, so no visitor can be followed from one page or day to the next. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the counter does not run.

When you use the contact form

We collect your name, email address and message, and your company and the services you tick if you give them. A Cloudflare Worker checks the message and passes it to Resend, which delivers it to our inbox. The Worker keeps no copy, and it uses your IP address only briefly, to limit repeated sends. Resend keeps a delivery record.

When you email us

We keep the conversation so we can answer you and keep business records.

Omni Converter

Files: conversion runs in your browser. Your files are not uploaded to us.
Account: if you sign in, we store your email address and your sign-in session. The six-digit sign-in code is sent through Resend and stored only in scrambled (hashed) form.
Pro: Stripe takes payment on its own checkout page, so we never see your card number. We keep your plan status and the Stripe references needed to manage it.
Problem reports: if you send one, we keep your message, the email address you give (optional), your account email if you are signed in, and your browser type. We do not store your IP address; a scrambled form of it is used only to limit repeated reports.

Music Writing God

Music Writing God is open only to approved accounts. What it keeps is stored in our database on Railway.

Signing in with Google: Google tells us your account ID and email address, and we keep only those two, to match you to your approved account. We do not keep your name, your picture or any Google token.
Signing in with an email code: we send a six-digit code to your address through Resend. We store the code only in scrambled (hashed) form. It works for 10 minutes and allows 5 tries, and it is deleted when you use it or when your next code replaces it. To limit repeated requests, we keep your email address and a scrambled form of your IP address for about a day.
Staying signed in: a sign-in cookie holds a session key, which we store only in scrambled form, for 14 days. Signing out deletes it. Expired sessions are not yet removed automatically; email us and we will delete them.
Your library: what you import is visible to every approved account.
No analytics or tracking tool runs in Music Writing God.

Scent Atlas

Scent Atlas has no account, form or cookie, and our visit counter does not run on it. The page and its data come from our server. Bottle images load straight from the sources' own image servers, media.parfumo.com and louisvuitton.com, so those companies receive your IP address, your browser type and our site's address when your browser shows them, under their own privacy policies. CSV and JSON exports are made on your device and are not sent to us.

How we use it

To deliver the site and its tools, and keep them secure.
To answer messages and problem reports.
To learn which pages and products people use, from the daily visit totals.
To provide the paid features you buy, and keep the records tax law requires.

We do not sell or share personal information, show advertising, or use what you send us to train AI models.

Service providers

Railway hosts the site, Omni Converter, Music Writing God and their databases.
Cloudflare runs the contact form and the visit counter, and stores the daily visit totals.
Resend delivers contact form messages and the sign-in codes for Omni Converter and Music Writing God.
Google provides the optional Google sign-in for Music Writing God.
Stripe processes Omni Converter Pro payments.

Each one receives only what it needs for that job.

How long we keep it

Messages and emails: as long as we need them to answer you and for business records. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Omni Converter accounts: until you ask us to delete the account.
Music Writing God accounts: your account ID and email address until you ask us to delete them.
Payment records: seven years, as US tax and accounting law requires.
Hosting request logs: for the period our hosting provider keeps them.
Daily visit totals: as long as they help us compare visits over time. They identify no one, so they cannot be linked to you or deleted for one person.
Contact form delivery records at Resend: for the period set by Resend's own retention terms.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, object to how we use it, and withdraw any consent you gave. Email Build@knightaiav.com. We may reply to confirm it is you, and we respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

California residents

In the last 12 months we collected identifiers (name, email address, IP address), internet activity (request logs), commercial information (Omni Converter Pro status) and the content of messages you sent us. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer anything about you.

You can ask to know, delete or correct the information we hold, and you can use an authorized agent, who must send us your signed permission. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Knight Chat and NavOrb

Knight Chat closed in October 2026. If you had an account, email us to ask what data remains and to have it deleted.

NavOrb (navorb.ai) is not open yet. Until it publishes its own policy, the NavOrb sections of the previous version of this policy apply to it.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

Where data is processed

We are based in the United States, and our service providers process data there. If you visit from another country, your information is transferred to the United States.

Changes

When this policy changes, we post the new version here with a new date and keep the previous version available. Earlier versions: October 25, 2026 and the version before it.
